Narex Wood Engraving Chisels Set, Narex 868300 allows a woodworker to carve and etch images, letters, or art into the wood. Perfect for hand wood engraving. Create artwork in many styles and types, from totem poles to designs in cabinet faceplates and the molding around your doors and windows. This 5 piece professional set of graving or engraving chisels are handmade by Narex of the Czech Republic. Blades are made of Chrome-Vanadium tool steel and heat treated to a hardness of 61-62 HRc. The edges are hand sharpened and lapped with abrasive paste and an Arkansas stone. Handles are stained and waxed European Beech wood. Handle have a flat on the back to prevent rolling off the bench. These chisels are designed to be used with hand pressure only.
