Narex Premium Bevel Edge Wood Chisels Set, Narex 863201 allows a woodworker to work the material by hand, shaving or slicing off small portions: a technique which is known as paring, or alternatively you can strike it with a wood carving mallet, enabling it to cut into the work to carve out recesses. These chisels are manufactured by Narex of the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section., Bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Handles are stained Hornbeam. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and solid brass ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. 4 piece Set.
