Narex Bevel Edge Wood Chisels Set, Narex 863010 allows a woodworker to work the material by hand, shaving or slicing off small portions: a technique which is known as paring, or alternatively you can strike it with a wood carving mallet, enabling it to cut into the work to carve out recesses. Manufactured by Narex of the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. Blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. Bevel Ground at a 25 degree angle. Blades have well-seated steel tangs. Handles made from laquered European Beechwood. Handles have 2 steel ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work
