Blast Gate is a fitting that controls the airflow in a hose or pipe by opening or closing a sliding gate. A blast gate can also be used to isolate a machine or tool from the dust collection system when not in use.
Standard 4" opening which allows you to clamp a standard 4" hose around it.
The other end is tapered to accept any 4" fitting or port.
The Quick Disconnect Blast Gate is a must for any wood shop.
Made from strong 1/8" thick abrasion resistant ABS plastic that will withstand abrasive nature of sawdust and wood chips.
Both Ports are 1.50" Deep and One Port is tapered from 3.85" to 4.00" in Outer Diameter.
