MLCS French Cleat Router Bits makes French Cleat brackets or wall mounts to hang heavy mirrors, pictures or quilt racks. Keep the items that you are hanging straight, and secure on the wall. Simply cut a 45 degree support strip the length of the item you wish to hang using a standard 45 degree chamfer bit and hang it on the wall with as many screws as needed. Then, use our French Cleat bit to rout the cleat recess on the back of the item to be hung. 2 flute, carbide tipped.
