Incra Super LS fence system

I have been using the Incra system for about two years and find it very repeatable and accurate. I replaced an earlier Incra fence mainly for the flexibility of the current split fence. The templates permit accurate box and dovetail joints once you understand the setup procedure. Make sure you center the unit each time a new project is started. I have been reasonably successful making attractive double-double dovetails on jewelry boxes, but this takes more time and far more careful setup. Make some test units before commiting to the prime project.The dust extraction system is fairly effective, but I supplement it with a router table, surface-mounted vacuum hose to keep the table clear of sawdust. The Incra is a true go-to tool.

The Super LS Positioner is an excellent fence. It can be a little complicated with all the bells and whistles, but all-in-all I am very happy with it. I bought it primarily for building collectible cabinets. I have also used it for making box joints for custom sized drawers and it does very well at that. I haven't done dovetails yet, but that will just be a matter of time. The ability to make fine, precision adjustments is what drew me to this fence. Used with the optional templates, there are a miriad of different joints that can be made. You can also make your own templates if you require. I highly recommend this accessory.
