The Beginning

Eagle America was founded in Ohio in 1989 with the goal of providing woodworkers with the highest quality American Made Router Bits at affordable prices and that's still our focus today. Eagle America started as a small family business. Eagle's founders brought products directly to you at woodworking shows around the country. They got to see the country and meet you in-person and respond to your feedback.

A New Beginning

In 2011, Eagle was purchased by MLCS Woodworking, another family business started in 1980, also with the goal of providing quality tools to fellow woodworkers. MLCS started in a home workshop with about 6 profiles but lots of dedication and woodworking expertise. The MLCS line and family have grown a lot over the 30+ years since, but we've always focused on high-quality imports for the budget and value-minded shopper as well as customer-focused service and top-notch technical support. Bringing Eagle into the MLCS family has allowed us to expand our service to the woodworking community and provide our customers with "the best of both worlds"--top-quality router bits made right here in the USA and high-quality imports for the more budget-minded shopper. So, we moved Eagle's operations (lock, stock, and collet) to join MLCS in the Huntingdon Valley suburb of Philadelphia, PA.

Today, with over 2,000 router bits in stock, Eagle America IS "The World's Router Bit Source". We strive to be your source for everything router.

We are still family owned and operated by the MLCS family and our product selection continues to grow. We now offer over 6,000 items including our router bits as well as over 3,600 other quality woodworking tools and accessories. From router bits, shaper cutters and saw blades to woodworking books, and power tools we try to offer a variety of handy gadgets that provide solutions to your most frequent woodworking needs. We offer many complementary items from some of the industry's best known names such as Milescraft, Penn State Industries, Kreg, Triton, Freud, Olson and many more.
